In this course we will discuss how you will prepare for the PMP exam and we will cover fundamental concepts you will need to master to do well on the exam.

Initiation session

In this session we will show you how projects are selected and processes you need to initiate a project. We will talk about the chartering process and identifying project stakeholder

Planning Scope and Schedule

We will show the importance of planning the project scope by collecting requirements, defining the scope, and decomposing scope by using a work breakdown structure. We will also run through the five processes necessary to develop the project schedule.

Cost, Quality, Human Resources, and Communication

Here we will cover four important aspects of planning your project. For cost, we look at developing estimates and establishing the project budget. For quality, we will show how to establish the quality requirements and standards for the project. In human resources we discuss on HR plan with a responsibility assignment matrix and a staffing plan. We will close out with the communication Plan

Risks, Procurement, and Integration

We will cover risk assessment processes and discuss the various types of contracts you can use, procurement documents, and a procurement management plan. We will wrap up the planning processes by describing the project management plan.

Managing Your Project

We will teach you what you do when you're managing the project. A lot of the information focuses on the interpersonal skills you apply when managing and developing your team and when you're managing stakeholder expectations. We will also discuss distributing project information and conducting project procurement.

Controlling Change, Scope, Schedule, and Cost

We will help you understand how you verify and control scope and controlling the schedule. We will be discussing how to control cost, including a special section that discusses earned value management.

Controlling Quality, Risks, and Contracts

We will illustrate with examples on controlling quality with technical techniques, Monitoring and controlling risks entails risk reassessment and looking at project and product risk. We will discuss on contracts , how to monitor contractor performance and manage the claims, payments, and disputes aspects of contracting.

Closing Your Project and the Code of Ethics

We will cover the two closing processes: Close Project or Phase and Closing Procurement. It will also cover the information in the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
